Here at CPJ Education, we believe that training and personal development can change people’s lives for the better, forever. We’re passionate about delivering high quality, cost effective training solutions. Our nationwide team of experienced teachers and assessors provide bespoke training solutions, which meet the specific needs of our clients across a variety of industries. 

We are currently working with our partners on sector work academy programmes funded via low value procurement. These are designed with contractors to tackle identified skills gaps in the Civil Engineering & Infrastructure sectors. CPJ have developed a standard induction which all candidates must complete before they undertake any industry specific training, this includes a Fingerprint Drug & Alcohol breathalyser test and candidates who fail can come back at a later date to take another test free of charge. 

We have developed over 40 pathways for these sectors to reflect the fragmentation of the card system across the construction industry and can provide access to sustainable employment for 10,000 candidates in 2021. 

At CPJ we follow a simple 4 step process which is broken down as follows:

STEP 1

For the Induction session, this is an informal chat either in person or online and a chance for you the potential employee to ask any questions you would like to know about the job role available and if it’s the right fit for you.

STEP 2

You are booked into a location which is near to you with one of our Drug & Alcohol testers, this is a really quick, easy, and hygienic process all done via fingerprint sweat with results in as little as 10 minutes. This is where we also take your PPE sizes required so all your PPE is ready for when you start your training at the depot.

STEP 3

After your D&A test you will be contacted by CPJ Education to book you in for training in Mental Health, First Aid Awareness and Manual Handling Awareness sessions at a date which is convenient to all taking part. The Education sessions for Mental Health and Manual Handling last 1 day however sometimes there will be other courses to take part in such as LANTRA TTMBC, LANTRA T1/T2, NRSWA, Health & Safety etc depending on what role it is you are applying for will depend on what other courses we can enrol you onto.

STEP 4

Once all Training and Education has been completed with CPJ you will be given a start date to go to the depot to start your pre-employment work induction to the role applied for with the employer and your PPE will be ready waiting for you on your first day!
